Our Disney trip

Our trip to Disney World was fantastic...A real dream come true! We were able to work with a wonderful Disney consultant named Mimi Lemon <3 and she was FANTABULOUS! From the moment I talked with her we had to worry about nothing! She booked our hotel suite - which was wonderful. Made all of our dinner reservations, and gave fabulous suggestions on where to eat. She made sure we had a driver to pick us up from the trainstation and drop us back off there.

We were also blessed with her tips to bring ponchos - which truly proved to be a valuable tip! And since i am an overpacker by nature, another family benefitted from this tip as well - I just happened to have extra ponchosin my backpack!

You may be thinking that she did all of this because it was her job, but I am here to tell you that after talking to her for hours getting every detail perfect, she truly went above and beyond what she needed to do and because of all of her hard work, we had the absolute best Stress free vacation ever!!

THANK YOU MIMI

Disney Bound

I am super excited! We have planned Disney vacations in the past only to end up cancelling them due to funding. Let me tell you - that is a disappointing feeling:o(.

But now, I am super excited because (crossing my fingers) It looks like this time is a GO! Everything is planned and we are just anxiously awaiting the 'BIG' day of departure to our fantasy vacation!

I have a travel agent who has helped us plan down to the very minute detail. She is one of my favorite people right now not only bcuz she is helping us plan this awesome vacation - but also because she gave me a craft project to do! I didn't know this, but in Disney the characters will sign an autograph book for you. So, you know me....I went right to work making these books for our vacation!

These are the covers to our books.
I love love love the world of crafting!
Can't wait till I have memory photos to put in cool pic frames that I will make!

The Wedding

My mother in laws wedding was beautiful. My sis in law did the flowers and she along with her mom, a friend and I went and decorated the hall...it turned out beautiful. She really did a nice job.

Here are some pics of her awesome work...

I had the awesome job of decorating the card box...loved the way it turned out!

The favors turned out nice also...but my most favorite thing was the 'cake' I made for the shower

This was made out of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. Decorated with candles and flowers.

All of this wedding planning and prepping was sooo much fun. I think if I had it to do all over again - I may not have chosen Engineering as my life career!

Cricut Imagine by ProvoCraft

Hello! Thought I'd give a quick update. First...I found a home for my bear in the cradle diaper basket - YAY! I love being able to give things away, especially for babies! I love babies:o). Second...I caved in and checked out the new Cricut Imagine. I was avoiding finding out what it was all about because I knew I'd want one. But, I have to tell you, it is THE COOLEST thing I have ever seen! Now I really really want one. Check out this video!!

Isn't this GREAT!

Also, we are very close to our goal of becoming a 501c3 status for our nonprofit Running for Parkinson's. To keep updated on how that is doing, you can go to my running blog - just click on the Running with Parkinson's to the left. Haven't updated in a while, but things are happening, so I'll be posting soon.
